Shoe Box Flat
One recent rental property has attracted a fair amount of interest, however. Boasting a bedroom, kitchen, lounge and shower room, a small one-bed flat in southeast London can be yours for just £700 per month. The flat is in zone 4, so it is within reach of central London and therefore ideal for common.

Garage Conversion
This unusual flat was originally a garage. It is only 2.3 metres wide, so not exactly very wide, and the fact that the neighbouring properties are both garages could take some getting used to. However, on the plus side, with rental prices so high in London, having a flat to call your own is a luxury for many people and the letting agents have certainly had plenty of enquiries.

“Abbey Wood is located within travel zone four and is proving to be a popular area for the rental market,” said Hunters, the letting agent in charge of the flat.

“With increasing property prices, renting is proving to be a favourable option and this is fast becoming the place to be.”

Modern Fixtures and Fittings
The flat is quite attractive inside, with a modern fitted kitchen, laminate flooring and a small patio area outside the back door.
