As I’m sure you’ve seen, the new Landlord Vision was released on 04/09/2023 and we haven’t stopped working on it. Here is a run down on everything that’s new in the three months since it’s release.
Accounting Journals
Need to record a director’s loan? Or maybe some year end adjustments. Well now you can as we have added the accounting journals to the Banking section. Just remember the golden rule – credit the giver and debit the receiver.
Ignore Transactions
Now that you can add journals, an extension of this feature is the ability to ignore transactions when doing the reconciliation. If you paid for some personal items on the company card for example, select More Options > Ignore on the Reconcile page. Doing this will add a journal and keep the transaction out of your P&L and tax reports, but also update your Account Balance so that it continues to match your bank account.
Valuations
Found in Properties, the Valuation section allows you to track any valuations you get done on your properties. Assign the valuation to either a property, or an individual unit. This then updates the Broker Summary Report (see below) and the Performance widget on the dashboard.
Keys
Also found in Properties, the Keys section allows you to keep a track of your keys including who has them and where they are. You can even use the section to check them in and out.
